Origin Story:
Fazenda Coqueiro is located in the Serra da Mantiqueira region, in Carmo de Minas, a city internationally recognized for its coffee tradition.
With over 40 years of cultivation, the family is committed to sustainable production with a focus on quality.
The property benefits from geographic and climatic conditions, which, combined with post-harvest care, result in grains with excellent attributes.
The property is located in the demarcated area that holds the Mantiqueira de Minas Denomination of Origin seal granted by the National Industrial Property Institute (INPI), which guarantees the origin and quality of the coffee lots.
The harvest is carried out manually on the cloth, preventing the grains from having contact with the soil. The harvested coffee is taken to the processing center (located on the farm).
After washing and peeling (natural or pulped natural) drying is done on the terrace and then finished in the dryer ensuring a homogeneous result. The beans are stored at COCARIVE (Regional Cooperative of Coffee Growers of the Vale do Rio Verde), in Carmo de Minas, which supports the cooperative in all stages of production, including in the marketing area, where there is a department entirely dedicated to these high-volume lots.
